The Story Behind Pika's Preschool

Books have been a passion of mine ever since I was a little girl. My mother took my sisters and I to the library faithfully, signed us up for summer reading clubs, taught us to select good material, and read many of the classics aloud to us. The summer after my freshman year in college, I had the opportunity to help a missions team with the organizing of a small library in Zambia. After I graduated with a degree in elementary education, I taught in a Christian school for two years. My very first students were preschoolers! SMILE! It was through my work with those precious youngsters, that my love for children's literature was rekindled. In a world full of unwholesome reading material, it is my desire to use this blog to share my personal reviews of many beautiful children's books.
